Its defining detail is rye backset — liquid remaining after rye whiskey distillation incorporated into a subsequent fermentation, a technique championed by Parker Beam that contributes spice and fermentation consistency. Distilled between October 2011 and January 2012, it matured 14 years across Rickhouses A, KK, L, and M before being bottled uncut at 118 proof. A portion of proceeds supports ALS research and patient care.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet oak with roasted nuts and citrus oils.
Palate: Butterscotch and vanilla layered with toasted oak and orange peel.
Finish: Lingering oak with caramelized sweetness and a touch of white pepper.

Specifications

Producer: Heaven Hill, Kentucky
Style: Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (Parker's Heritage Collection, 20th Edition, barrel proof)
Mash Bill: 78% Corn, 10% Rye, 12% Malted Barley (with rye backset)
Age: 14 Years (distilled Oct 2011–Jan 2012)
Proof: 118 (59% ABV), non-chill filtered
Batch: 100 barrels across four rickhouses
Size: 750mL

Explore more in our bourbon collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the 20th Edition?
It is Heaven Hill's 2026 Parker's Heritage release — a 14-year barrel-proof bourbon honoring Master Distiller Parker Beam, with a portion of proceeds supporting ALS research.

What proof is it?
118 proof (59% ABV), bottled uncut and non-chill filtered.

What is rye backset?
Liquid left after rye whiskey distillation, reused during fermentation — a Parker Beam technique that contributes spice, balance, and consistency.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0276/1621/5176/files/Parker_sHeritageCollection14YearKentuckyBourbonWhiskey20thEdition750mL.webp?v=1791828852
https://woodencork.com/products/parkers-heritage-collection-14-year-kentucky-bourbon-whiskey-20th-edition
