"Novare serbando" is the leitmotiv that has guided Fratelli Branca throughout its history. And it is not a short history at all. Founded by Bernardino Branca in 1845 in Milan, over 160 years ago, the business has always been controlled by the Branca family, who has worked through the years to make Fernet Branca one of the most famous bitter liqueurs in the world.
The company, a pioneer in the creation of a bitter liqueur made from herbs and roots from all over the world, has always based its work on innovation, whilst respecting traditions and quality.
This is how many "historic products" such as Stravecchio Branca and Brancamenta were born, up to a further expansion into the market of wines and sparkling wines. Alongside the new products, also a number of development strategies have been devised, especially from the year 2000 to the present day, under the supervision of Niccolò Branca, Chairman of Fratelli Branca Distillerie: strategic approach, extension lines, marketing strategies, the emersion of qualified management for the operations and the integration of competences in the product quality control.
Other members of the Branca family are involved in the controlled company Fratelli Branca Distillerie s.r.l. , namely: Maria Teresa Branca, who manages the activities with Aibes (Associazione Italiana Barman e Sostenitori – Italian Association of Bartenders and Supporters) and Ilaria Branca, Brand Ambassador of the company.
