Sipsmith debuts ready-to-drink G&Ts

Beam Suntory-owned Sipsmith has launched canned ready-to-drink (RTD) gin and tonics in the UK.

The new RTDs contain Sipsmith London Dry Gin combined with either regular tonic water or low-calorie tonic water. The 250ml cans have an abv of 7.3%. Launched in time for summer, the Sipsmith Gin & Tonic and Gin & Light Tonic Cans tap into “on-the-go G&T occasions” such as barbecues, picnics or festivals. Jared Brown, master distiller for Sipsmith, said: “We believe all gin experiences should be of the same uncompromising quality, whether gin lovers are sipping a G&T in a bar, the comfort of their own home, or out and about. “Perfect for on-the-go sipping, these cans are available in both regular and light, so there’s an option for whichever suits you best.” The Sipsmith Gin & Tonic and Gin & Light Tonic Cans have an RRP of £3 (US$3.88) per 250ml can. The RTDs are available to buy from British supermarkets Ocado and Co-op, and will be rolled out to wider retailers including Tesco and Waitrose from early May.
