Quintessential Brands will invest several million dollars in bringing back four of their brands into North America this fall, the company says.
These brands are: Greenall’s Gin, Opihr Gin, The Dubliner Irish Whiskey and The Dubliner Honeycomb Liqueur.
Greenall’s, Opihr and The Dubliner will soft launch this holiday season in select U.S. markets with strong “liquid-to-lips sampling, targeting event sponsorship and social media support,” the company says, followed by a “robust” on- and off-premise exposure campaign in 2017.
Greenall’s The Original London Dry Gin is more than 250 years old as a brand. Greenall’s continues to be distilled in Warrington, England, by G&J Distillers (formerly G&J Greenall) using traditional copper pot stills. Today, G&J Distillers is owned by The Quintessential Brands Group and is currently exported to over 70 countries globally. Greenall’s Gin is currently available in 750-ml., 1.0-L., and 1.75-L. sizes. The suggested retail price is $17.99 per 750-ml. and $29.99 per 1.75-L. bottle.
Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin is distilled using exotic botanicals, herbs and spices from along the Ancient Spice Route. Opihr Gin is currently available in 750-ml., 1.0-L., and 1.75-L. sizes sizes with a suggested retail price of $34.99 per 750-ml bottle.
The Dubliner Irish Whiskey is fully aged in American Bourbon Barrels for no less than three years. The Dubliner Honeycomb Liqueur is a blend of Irish whiskey and honeycomb, and is also produced in Ireland by First Ireland Spirits, Ltd. The Dubliner Irish Whiskey and The Dubliner Honeycomb Liqueur are both currently available in 750-ml. and 1.-L. packages, with a SRP of $27.99 per 750-ml. size.
Quintessential Brands was founded in 2011 by former CEO of Gruppo Campari, Enzo Visone, and former investment banker, Warren Scott. Their distribution partner in the U.S. is Prestige Wine & Spirits.
