Diageo has relaunched its limited-edition Cîroc Summer Colada expression in the US due to “overwhelming success”.Infused with flavours of pineapple and coconut, Diageo first unveiled the limited-edition flavour in March last year. To kick-off the 2018 Cîroc Summer Collection, which includes Summer Colada, Peach and Pineapple, Cîroc has appointed Columbian singer and songwriter Karol G, along with American singers Teyana Taylor and Cassie to represent the range. "This summer we're bringing back Summer Colada, one of our most successful limited edition variants," said Cîroc partner and rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. "We're pairing it with Cîroc fan favourites to create the ultimate Summer Collection. Cîroc continues to grow and thrive with flavour innovation and year after year is a dominant force in the market." The trio will support the launch as part of a campaign, called#CirocSummerSquad, to celebrate female empowerment. The #CirocSummerSquad initiative kicks off in April at an Empowered Brunch platform with Variety, a forum bringing together more than 100 influential women in media, music and fashion. The initiative will also head to the Coachella music festival this month with additional parties, pop-ups and activations to be announced.
