Bacardi has teamed up with UK bar chain Revolución de Cuba to launch a limited edition three-year-old blended rum.Bacardi Aventura is a blend of dark rums aged in American oak barrels for at least three years. It is said to carry flavours of tropical fruit, ceder and vanilla. “We’ve been on an incredible journey with Bacardi – we travelled across America and the Caribbean to learn about rum history and production, which inspired us to create Aventura together,” said Clinton Ghent, operations director at Revolución de Cuba. Bacardi’s UK brand ambassador, Metinee Kongsrivilai, added: “We’ve been working with Revolución de Cuba since 2011 when the group opened its first bar. The launch of Aventura marks the long-standing partnership between us and is another key milestone in our shared ambition to bring great drinks and experiences to consumers in the UK.” The rum will be used in a number of cocktails at Revolución de Cuba venues across the UK from 26 November. Consumers can also buy 70cl bottles of Bacardi Aventura from the bars at an RRP of £30 (US$39).
